Well these things (or at least the wires) intrude on enough shots that people try and take in the country, or of skies... I thought I'd use the actual pylon as the subject. ;) I liked this one because, being very close to the power station itself, it had more than the usual amount of wires coming off it. ....And I liked the contrast between it and the sky behind. :)

Edit: Erg... I just looked at this with the full view thingie, and the resize has made the wires look a little odd. Not smooth. Apologies for that, but after checking it seems that anything other than full size on the image is going to do this, and full size is biiiiiig. :hmm:

I like how you got it at such an angle that it looks more architectural than strictly utilitarian. :thumbsup:

Thanks. :) The angle was achieved by standing about five metres away from it. Not really anything to do but look up at that distance! ;)

Very nice pic, but I feel the border and signature spoil it somewhat. Could you perhaps do a version without these?

Thanks for the compliment. :) The border is part of the image as I wanted to present it. The signature isn't, but in the unlikely event that anyone wanted to pinch my pictures I wanted to mark them in some way.
